Bushnell Trophy TRS-25 Red Dot 2023 Review and Guide

When you are out in the wilderness, you will only be able to carry a certain amount of tools with you - shouldn’t the scope you’re carrying be the best possible one?

We want your next hunting trip to be a success - so we have decided to do a comprehensive review of the Bushnell TRS-25.

The Red Dot scope has received a lot of accolades, and we are eager to see if they are true. It has been said that this scope is sturdy, dependable, and compact.

Can the Trophy TRS-25 Red Dot Sight scope live up to its hype and the legacy of Bushnell?

Bushnell - Who is it?

Bushnell is a sporting optics company that operates in America, specializing in outdoor sports and products. Some of these products include night vision equipment, binoculars, telescopes, and rifle scopes.

It was established in 1948 by David P. Bushnell. He was inspired after a honeymoon visit to Japan. Back in California, he had returned with two crates of binoculars, hoping to start a mail order business to sell them.

Ultimately, this led to the first time that middle class Americans could buy optics that were affordable due to their import status.

After being established, Bushnell has always had a reputation of selling easy to use, affordable, and precise optics.

The company brand has only strengthened over the years, and we are certain that the TRS-25 is just the beginning of a new wave of precise optical technology.

The Bushnell TRS-25 Red Dot

Features of the TRS-25 Red Dot Sight riflescope

The Bushnell TRS-25 is a durable and lightweight model, perfect for shotguns, rifles, and handguns. If you want easy and quick target acquisition, this scope’s peak accuracy is all that you will ever need.

The 1 by 25 red dot has been especially engineered for brighter, multi-coated optics. This is so that you can establish that much quicker, what is a deer and what is a log - particularly useful if you are in an area with low or poor lighting. It is also shock proof, water proof, and fog proof.

You can easily use the red dot with your eyes open - as it has an unlimited amount of eye relief, which allows you, as the hunter, to have a greater sense of situational awareness. The sight also has a parallax-free design, which means that it gives you no boundaries to your movement, while also giving you ease of targeting.

The scope’s size is the most impressive part of it, though. The TRS-25 gives you a full-sized performance, also with hardly any battery replacement.

Range Ready?

If you are as impressed with this product as we are, then we know that you can’t wait to buy it and try it out at the range!

The Bushnell TRS-25 has a great price point, very few cons (that are easily solvable), and great quality - you could not ask for more, especially if you are a beginner hunter.

The Final Verdict

Bushnell is a great company to buy products from, even judging by its cons because they have already anticipated any sort of issue you may have with their scope, and done the troubleshooting themselves to save you time and effort.

Their customer service is beyond the norm and they take pride in doing all they can to help you.

  • Affordable and relatively low price point compared to its competitors for the Red Dot scope.
  • Provides unlimited eye relief, especially for heavy duty guns.
  • Red Dot Lens positioning is off-axis, which gives you a more accurate shot.
  • Control knobs are designed with resistance, so you don’t accidentally turn something on.

  • The red dot reticule can appear blurry in a bright environment, so you will have to lower the intensity.
